ARIZONA FIRES have already burned 1,000 square miles of the state and the summer rains and lightning have yet to begin. Arizona has closed the forests and is attempting to charge reckless campers for fires that have already burned out some of the most beautiful forestland in the country. The Monument and Horseshoe Two fires have taken huge tolls in southern Arizona, and the state's largest ever, the Wallow fire, devastated northeast Arizona.
